 Barnes and Noble Bookfair to benefit HR Jones PTA!
Coming to Barnes and Noble, Commercial Drive, New Hartford:

Tuesday April 13, 2010.

Events will include:
5:00 p.m. -- Story Time with Mrs. Hartnett, principal
5:30 p.m. – Book Reading with Mrs. Barringer, librarian
6:00-7:00 p.m. – Art Reception, café area, for student artists with Mrs. Kilian
6:30 p.m. – Stories Sing-a-Long with Mrs. Boudreau, Music Teacher

Any purchase at any register made all day will benefit Jones PTA (at least 15% of sales); any purchase made from Barnes and Noble website from 4/13-4/18 mentioning bookfair number 10158632 will benefit PTA (12% of sales). Be sure to mention Jones School when you check out!

Teachers will have “wish lists” filled out for purchase of classroom books – think ahead for Teacher Appreciation and /or end of year gifts!

The week of April 10 – 16 is Educator Appreciation week at Barnes and Noble, anyone with a Barnes and Noble educator discount card receives extra discounts that week!

Jones School Yearbooks are no longer on sale!
 
 
However, I ordered 10 extra yearbooks.  They will be sold on a first come first serve basis starting on February 22nd, 2010.
 
Do not send in money.  You need to call me and speak to me to reserve your order.  368-6745.

Technology News

Remember to bring in your used ink cartridges and cell phones for our recycling project to Mrs. Flo (located in LIbrary).  Each item is worth points that turn into cash for new technology for our building.  We are trying to raise enough money to buy some digital cameras for the classrooms!
